WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service issued the following news release:
A draft recovery plan is now available for the pearl darter, a small fish listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Once native to the Pascagoula River system of Mississippi and the Pearl River system of Mississippi and Louisiana, the pearl darter continues to survive in the Pascagoula River system but has not been seen in the Pearl River . . .
