WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, issued the following news release on Nov. 4, 2022, and letter:
U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, D-Ore., today called on the State Department to create new protections for Americans' passport application records, after learning that 25 federal agencies have unfettered access to a database containing 145 million Americans' personal information.
