WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 -- The Democratic National Committee issued the following news release:
The chair of the Republican Study Committee, Indiana GOP Rep. Jim Banks, joined the chorus of his Republican colleagues willing to risk the fiscal stability of our country to force cuts to programs like Social Security and Medicare.
Banks isn't even trying to hide it -- he said so in an interview, claiming that Republicans should use our country's fiscal stability as "levera . . .
