WACO, Texas, Sept. 7 -- The American Football Coaches Association issued the following news:
William & Mary used 303 rushing yards and a stout defense to hand FBS-member Charlotte a 41-24 loss. The Tribe defense held Charlotte to just seven points in the second half, going scoreless in the fourth quarter. The win propelled William & Mary to No. 22 in this week's AFCA FCS Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
