MIAMI, Florida, June 17 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Juan Antonio Gonzalez, issued the following news release on June 22, 2022:
A Florida man was arrested today for allegedly distributing more than $230 million in adulterated HIV drugs that were ultimately dispensed to unsuspecting patients throughout the country.
According to an indictment unsealed today, Lazaro Hernandez, 51, of Miami, was allegedly part of a nationwide scheme to defraud . . .
