LANSING, Michigan, April 16 (TNStalk) -- The Michigan League for Public Policy issued the following statement by President and CEO Monique Stanton:

"The brutal and unjustified killing of unarmed Black men by police is not an anomaly in our nation, a fact that makes the April 4 killing of Patrick Lyoya, a Congolese immigrant, in a Grand Rapids neighborhood--in our own state--even more disturbing.
We want to acknowledge the real pain and suffering . . .
