WASHINGTON, Dec. 18 -- Rep. Bill Foster, D-Illinois, issued the following news release on Dec. 17, 2021:
Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL) announced that Illinois will receive almost $1.9 billion in new federal funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to improve roads and bridges across the state. This is the first round of funding under the five years of federal investment in Illinois highways authorized by this new law.
