Ron Wyden, D-Oregon, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, issued the following opening statement involving a hearing on Nov. 16, 2021, to consider the nominations of Maria Lago to be undersecretary for international trade, and Lisa Wang to be assistant secretary for enforcement and compliance at the Commerce Department:
