OAKLAND, California, July 20 -- California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued the following news release on July 19, 2021:
California Attorney General Rob Bonta announced today that one of the largest hospital systems in the nation and two of its doctors will pay $37.5 million to resolve violations of the False Claims Act and the California False Claims Act. The settlement is a joint resolution with the U.S. Department of Justice and the California Department of Justice.
