COLUMBIA, Missouri, June 25 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Missouri Field Office issued the following news release:
Missouri inventory of all hogs and pigs on June 1, 2021 was 3.40 million head, down 3 percent from March 1, 2021 and down 11 percent from last year. Breeding inventory, at 425,000 head, was down 5,000 from the previous quarter and down 50,000 from last year. Market hog inventory, at 2.98 million head, was down 3 perce . . .
