WASHINGTON, June 11 -- Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following statement on June 10, 2021, after the committee voted to pass the Consumer Protection and Recovery Act (H.R. 2668) to restore the Federal Trade Commission's 13(b) consumer protection powers:
