WASHINGTON, June 11 -- Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, issued the following news release on June 10, 2021:

Rep. Veasey (TX-33) applauded the bipartisan passage of the INVEST in America Act of 2021 out of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. The bill is a five-year reauthorization of surface transportation measures and includes critical funding that Rep. Veasey secured for local projects, including the Fort Worth Transportation Authority and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).
