HARTFORD, Connecticut, June 5 (TNSPol) -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Connecticut issued the following news release on June 4, 2021:
The Connecticut Senate tonight voted 27-9 to approve H.J. 58, a legislative resolution, to allow all voters to vote by no excuse absentee ballot access under the state constitution. The legislature will have to pass the resolution by simple majority again next session for it to appear on the ballot in 2024.
