WASHINGTON, June 4 -- Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-TX-28) released the following statement regarding Governor Abbott's border declaration and the Department of Homeland Security's termination of the Migrant Protection Protocols Program (MPP):
"Today, Governor Abbott announced a "disaster declaration" along Texas's southern border. I cannot in good conscience agree with the governor's decision . . .
