TAMPA, Florida, June 4 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida issued the following news release:
Deontres Javan Taylor (27, Jacksonville) has pleaded guilty to disaster assistance fraud involving Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) benefits. He faces up to 30 years in federal prison and payment of restitution to the United States in the amount of $8,083.19. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
