WASHINGTON, May 27 -- Rep. Darren Soto, D-Florida, issued the following news release on May 26, 2021:

Yesterday, Congressman Darren Soto (FL-09) reintroduced H.R. 3543, the Blockchain Technology Coordination Act (BTCA) of 2021 to establish a Blockchain Center of Excellence within the U.S. Department of Commerce. The office would oversee all non-defense related deployment and activities related to blockchain technology within the federal government.
