SYRACUSE, New York, May 26 -- Rep. John Katko, R-New York, issued the following news release on May 25, 2021:
U.S. Rep. John Katko (NY-24) today announced Angelia Scholz, a junior at Union Springs High School, has been named the winner of the Congressional Art Competition for New York's 24th Congressional District. Angelia's piece, a charcoal portrait of her sister titled 'Turning over a new leaf' will hang in the U.S. Capitol for one full year.
