WASHINGTON, May 25 -- The Federal Election Commission issued the following reporting litigation document:
Texas has scheduled a Special Runoff Election on July 27, 2021, to fill the U.S. House of Representatives seat in the 6th Congressional District held by the late Representative Ron Wright. No candidate received a majority vote in the May 1 Special General Election, triggering a runoff between the top two vote-getters.
