WASHINGTON, May 22 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on May 20, 2021:
U.S. Senator Bob Menendez, a senior member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, today secured a commitment from U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Secretary Pete Buttigieg to advance the Gateway Project, including finishing the Portal Bridge and building a new trans-Hudson rail tunnel.
