WASHINGTON, May 21 (TNSPol) -- The American Historical Association issued the following news:
The AHA has written a letter to Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and the members of the Texas Senate registering strong objection to Texas House Bill 3979, urging them to "reject this misguided, harmful, and unnecessary piece of legislation."
The letter describes how the bill would likely endanger Advanced Placement and dual-enrollment programs in Texas public schools.< . . .
