WASHINGTON, May 20 -- Rep. Albio Sires, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release on May 19, 2021:
Tonight, Congressman Albio Sires (D-NJ) voted in favor of H.R. 3233, the National Commission to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol Complex Act. This legislation would create a nonpartisan commission to find the facts behind the events leading up to the January 6th Capitol attacks. H.R. 3233 passed the House by a vote of 252-175.
