WASHINGTON, May 19 -- Rep. Al Lawson, D-Florida, issued the following news release:
U.S. Rep. Al Lawson (FL-05), Rep. Alma Adams (NC-12), and Rep. Val Demings (FL-10) introduced the HUD Inspection Act of 2021. This bill forces U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to take greater action when federal assisted housing properties fail to come into compliance with federal housing laws.
