WASHINGTON, May 19 -- Rep. Tomaz Malinowski, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
Congress passed the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act to take action on the dramatic increase in hate crimes and violence against Asian Americans since the onset of the public health crisis.
