FEMA Approves $36.3 Million in Hurricane Michael Public Assistance Grants

PENSACOLA, Florida, May 19 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency issued the following news release:
FEMA has approved grants totaling $36,331,673 to reimburse recovery expenses in Florida for Hurricane Michael in 2018.
Funding from FEMA's Public Assistance program will provide the following reimbursements:
* Bay County: $1,044,002 for the cost of demolishing and replacing the county's hurricane-damaged courthouse . . .
