WASHINGTON, May 15 -- Rep. Filemon Vela, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Filemon Vela (D-TX) announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded the City of Brownsville $1,614,351 to enhance the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport.
Federal funds will be used to replace two existing passenger boarding bridges. A portion of these funds have been allocated from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act . . .
