EAST LANSING, Michigan, May 13 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Great Lakes Regional Field Office issued the following news release:
Michigan wheat growers anticipate better yields in 2021 than they had last year, according to Marlo Johnson, Director of the USDA NASS, Great Lakes Regional Office. Michigan producers expect to harvest 520,000 acres, up 70,000 acres from last year. Wheat production in the State is expected to be 42.6 mi . . .
