Following Mayor de Blasio's refusal to allow the United Staten Island Veterans Organization to hold their annual Memorial Day Parade, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) reached out to the NYPD Counsel's office urging them to revisit the request and issued the following statement:
"The Mayor must revisit his policy that's denying Staten Island veterans . . .
