GLADSTONE, Michigan, May 6 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Hiawatha National Forest - issued the following news release:

Hiawatha National Forest and Gnoozhekaaning, Place of the Pike, or Bay Mills Indian Community (BMIC) recently signed a Good Neighbor Authority (GNA) agreement, making the parties among the first in the nation to utilize the tribal GNA authority, granted in the 2018 Farm Bill.
