Rep. Zeldin Calls on Army Corps to Perform Emergency Dredge of Long Island Intracoastal Waterway and Moriches Inlet

PATCHOGUE, New York, April 30 -- Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-New York, issued the following news release:

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) called on the Army Corps of Engineers to perform an emergency dredge of the Long Island Intracoastal Waterway and Moriches Inlet. Congressman Zeldin recently joined the Coast Guard to survey the shoaling in both the waterway and inlet, which has created significant safety hazards for those traveling by boat.
