WASHINGTON, April 29 -- The White House issued the following news release on April 28, 2021:
President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. declared that a major disaster exists in the State of New Jersey and ordered federal assistance to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by a severe winter storm and snowstorm during the period of January 31 to February 2, 2021.
