FLINT, Michigan, April 27 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Michigan, issued the following statement:

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05), Chief Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, issued the following statement after the U.S. Census Bureau released the Census population totals for the country and the states, as well as the congressional apportionment totals for Michigan:
"While expected, it is disappointing that Michigan will lose a seat in Congress. . . .
