U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) on Thursday applauded the Senate passage of the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act, legislation aimed to address the ongoing surge in hate crimes and violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
