WASHINGTON, April 23 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
The House of Representatives passed unconstitutional legislation to make Washington D.C. the 51st state in the United States of America. There was no bipartisan support for the legislation and Congressman John Moolenaar voted against the bill.
