WASHINGTON, April 22 -- Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Rep. Debbie Dingell (MI-12) and the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass H.R. 1333, the National Origin-Based Antidiscrimination for Nonimmigrants (NO BAN) Act. This legislation will prevent any future president from issuing baseless, discriminatory travel bans. Dingell presided over the House during debate and gaveled down the bill for final passage.
