BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut, April 16 -- Rep. Jim Himes, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release:

Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04) announced the creation of two summer internships that provide stipends for students who have demonstrated financial need. The Kevin J. Sutherland Washington, DC, Internship and the Jack Bryant Connecticut Internship will each provide a $5,400 stipend for a cumulative three-month summer internship in either his Capitol Hill or District Offices.
