WASHINGTON, April 15 -- Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following news release on April 14, 2021:
The House Judiciary Committee passed H.R. 1333, the National Origin-Based Antidiscrimination for Nonimmigrants (NO BAN) Act and H.R. 1573, the Access to Counsel Act of 2021, sending the legislation to the House floor. The full House of Representatives is expected to vote on the bills next week.
