WASHINGTON, April 15 -- Rep. Joe Courtney, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release:
Congressman Joe Courtney (CT-02), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, made the following statement after President Joe Biden announced that he would withdraw all American combat troops from Afghanistan by September 11, 2021.
"President Biden's plan, which modifies the May 1st Trump departure date to September 11th, will bring to an end twenty years of val . . .
