WASHINGTON, April 10 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
President Joe Biden proposed his federal budget for 2022. The proposal, which will be reviewed by Congress, cuts the annual budget for the Army Corps of Engineers by a billion dollars.
"To invest in infrastructure President Biden should invest in the Army Corps of Engineers, and not cut its annual budget. The Army Corps has important work to do, including building a new lock . . .
