WASHINGTON, April 9 -- Rep. Brian Higgins, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) joined Rep. Lois Frankel (FL-21) along with other members of the House of Representatives to urge the United States Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) to expedite the newly expanded benefits for Vietnam veterans which would ensure those with parkinsonism, bladder cancer, and hypothyroidism caused by exposure to Agent Orange could receive VA disability benefits. . . .
