WASHINGTON, April 2 -- Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Americans mourn the loss of United States Capitol Police Officer William Evans, who was killed this afternoon at the Capitol," said Congressman John Moolenaar.
"I am praying for his family, friends, and colleagues, and hoping that the other injured officer will be able to make a full recovery.
"This tragedy is another reminder of the risks the brave men . . .
