HOUSTON, Texas, April 6 -- Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
On Monday, April 5, 2021, Congressman Al Green released the following statement opposing SB 7 and HB 6, under current consideration by the Texas Legislature:
"I vehemently oppose the recent iterations of voter suppression currently being considered by our state's legislature. States should not have the ability to manipulate voter accessibility to their advantage or be able to fash . . .
