WASHINGTON, March 30 -- Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Vicente Gonzalez announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Thomas Vilsack approved a Secretarial disaster area designation for drought for the following counties in the 15th District of Texas: Karnes, Live Oak primary; and contiguous, Brooks, Duval, Wilson. With this designation, those affected by recent drought are qualified to be considered for Farm Servi . . .
