WASHINGTON, March 24 -- The U.S. Department of Justice issued the following news release on March 22, 2021:
The United States has filed four civil injunction suits in federal court in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. The suits seek to enjoin a Detroit-area tax preparation franchisor from owning, operating and franchising tax preparation businesses and to prohibit the franchisor, as well as certain others that have agreements to operate using her business . . .
