WASHINGTON, March 19 -- Rep. Lisa McClain, R-Michigan, issued the following news release:
Congresswoman Lisa McClain (R-MI) voted against H.R. 1603, the Farm Workforce Modernization Act.
"I'm committed to working with my colleagues in the House and Senate to ensure our farmers have the access to the labor they so desperately need. But, this bill is not the way to do it. We should not be rewarding those who are breaking our country's laws with a pathway to citizensh . . .
