WASHINGTON, March 18 -- Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, issued the following news release:
On Wednesday, Rep. Chip Roy (TX-21), joined by 17 of his House Republican colleagues, issued the following open letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA-12) pledging that they will not request earmark money amidst efforts to resurrect the corrupting practice in Congress.
The pledge letter will remain open for any member of Congress of either party who wishes to join and take a stand against leg . . .
