WASHINGTON, March 18 -- Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
Representative Mikie Sherrill voted today to remove the deadline for states to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. The bipartisan vote ensures that the fight to enshrine women's rights in the Constitution is able to continue.
