WASHINGTON, March 18 -- Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, issued the following news release:
Today, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1651, the COVID-19 Bankruptcy Relief Extension Act of 2021, legislation introduced by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) that extends the temporary bankruptcy relief provisions granted by the CARES Act for an additional year. The bill passed by a bipartisan vote of 399-14.
