WASHINGTON, March 18 -- Rep. Van Taylor, R-Texas, issued the following news release on March 17, 2021:
Yesterday, Congressmen Van Taylor (R-TX-03) and Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY-08) introduced H.R. 1924, the Kenneth P. Thompson Begin Again Act. This bipartisan legislation aims to provide certain non-violent and low-level drug offenders with a second chance at life by allowing judges to expunge their records.
