WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Rep. Kathleen Rice, D-New York, issued the following news release:
U.S. Representative Kathleen Rice (NY-04) introduced a bill to create a new federal program to fund public health infrastructure spending for state and local health departments. Rice's bill was included as part of the Energy and Commerce Committee's Leading Infrastructure For Tomorrow's America Act, or LIFT America Act, which was also introduced today.
