WASHINGTON, March 12 -- Rep. Filemon Vela, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Filemon Vela (D-TX) announced that the Texas General Land Office (GLO) has awarded Hidalgo County and the City of Kingsville nearly $17M for flood mitigation projects as part of their second round of flood mitigation grants funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
